Do it yourself or hire out?

There are many ways to save money when you have a south booth built, including doing some of the work yourself. For instance, offer to help solder wires for XLR cables, build the booth yourself or use people within the church skilled in such work, or perform any of the more mudane tasks the consultants could offload.

Grammar

Sorry, I can't help but notice grammatical errors

You mean to say "when you have a sound booth build"

I also manage our church's website, and know how difficult it can be making sure every little bit is right!

Hope this helps.
I love this site - I often come just for casual reading in spare (or not so spare!) time. Thanks.

This new site looks very familiar in construction to our site: http://cambridge.adventist.org.nz

Thanks for the spot.  I did

Thanks for the spot.  I did the same thing with another article here with the same phrase.  LOL - I guess I did it twice.

This site, as well as most sites that are updated with any frequency, use some sort of content management system (CMS).  A CMS enables updates directly on the site through the web browser.  Both your site and this one use a standard 3-column layout.  Heck, they could both be using the same CMS.
