How do you Record a service?

No more Buzz

Hi Admin,

In your last line you said "With a lower input signal you will lose that buzz"......do you mean higher input signal?

Yes, I've fixed it.

Yes, I've fixed it.  (dang.)

No More Buzz

The buzz you hear is most likely from the point in which you are boosting the volume.  The laptop has an output jack that you are using to transfer the signal to the mixer.  The mixer then takes that input into a channel and you increase the volume.

When buzzing occurs, it's usually because you are making the largest volume increase very late in the process.  The buzzing comes from the input signal that is being boosted in your mixer, therefore, you need to boost the volume at the source.

The next time you use the laptop (or any external source that has a volume control), increase the volume from the source, in this case the volume control within the laptop.  Then, you will use much less gain to boost the input signal.  With a higher input signal, you will lose that buzz.

Music through comuter

We are trying to use our computer to play music for our services but we are getting an awful buzz. What we are using now is a laptop but we are wanting to go to a desk top computer. Any suggestions?
