I love you guys! Seriously, I’ve wanted to reach out and help you in new ways and the podcast world is perfect for it. I know I’ve hit you up a number of times this summer with short surveys and questions but my intent was to help you in new ways. And part of that is through the new Behind the Mixer Podcast.
It’s a little bit of everything. One show is an interview and the next is talking tech. And it’s either myself involved with an interview or myself and Brian Gowing discussing problems and solutions, tech tips, and a variety of other helpful things.
The podcast is available in iTunes, Stitcher, and Google Play. I’ve provided the links to the first episode below and I HUMBLY ASK YOU to PLEASE subscribe to the podcast as it’s really going to help you be a better tech…and provide you some entertainment along the way.
The First Episode
The very first episode is an interview with fellow church audio tech, Eric Weedon. He’s got a great story of how he went from running lights to being the church audio guy and he’s got so much else to share from his experience that will help techs of all levels. I loved interviewing him and I think you’ll love listening.
Please subscribe to the podcast to catch interviews, gear reviews, and mixing tips and strategies.

Two Other Episodes:
I just started listening to the podcast. It’s like a breath of fresh air. What’s the name of the Yahama training video mentioned in this episode? I’m familiar with the Yamaha “House of worship” book. Is it related to that?
Thank You
I don’t know what it was. Sorry.
Thank you Chris for this podcast! I’m new to your site and this has been great . Eric as well as yourself truly have humble spirits and know that all you do is to lift Him up . I’m am the worship leader at my church and as many are , are frustrated with sound issues . Listening to both of you encourages me to learn more to be able to help with our problems .
I was recently at Sweetwater music for gear fest and attended a session with Kent Morris that I found very interesting. He also has a humble spirit like yourself . I can back excited about what I heard but not knowing how to apply it . Frustrating!
Keep up the great work you are doing . I will be searching for more of your teaching videos and articals.
Blessings,
Gary
Thanks, Gary, and I’m glad you liked the podcast. I’m very grateful we could be an encouragement to you! Kent’s a great guy as well.
