Are you hauling AVL equipment in and out of a venue each weekend because your church doesn’t have it’s own building? There is a lot that can go wrong. There’s a lot that people do wrong. Chris and Brian want to help by talking about the ways in which you can streamline your load-in/load-out process, work with volunteers, and how you should transport equipment and ultimately keep it and everyone safe.

any pointers or suggestions on what to use for standalone security systems that you can use in trailers?

yea. I got it. 1982, I took a 3 month 15000 km solo motorcycle trip. Read Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance during the first part of the trip. Interesting book, though after 36 years remember next to nothing about it.
Enjoy listening to your podcast.
Thanks. I read it long ago and was surprised I’d even remembered it.
1st of all I never thought about using a short instrument cable as a Western string tie or a bolo tie.
I thought that everything you said about a portable church was really good information. After buying land and building a school gym and aday care our church had to meet in that gym for 7 years while saving up for an auditorium. I found it very helpful to keep a notebook with instructions and illustrations of view to set up for Sunday. Because the layout of the platform and PA could change due to school events or weddings at al, the notebook would contain the details for those scenarios. When we moved into a new auditorium, I had portions of the notebook translated into Spanish, as that ministry moved into the gym.
We should have you on the podcast. No joke.
Ummm. No, I am content to listen in. You guys do a great job covering topics, I’m having a difficult time coming up with show suggestions. Because of your podcast, I’ve just now started using AssetTiger. Before, I was using a Google Form. I am not on staff, so I don’t have copious amounts of time to go from room to room doing proper inventory. So the Form was helpful and I can upload what I have as CSV into AssetTiger. I know our staff that oversees the buildings is very interested in it. (And it is way cheaper than Planning Center’s version.) I am curious if Brian purchases the blank asset tags, then using the free online software to print tags at home; or, if he orders them and has AssetTag print and ship them to him. Thanks.
